Wine and dine with the Carbine Club at Sandown Park

I write to remind all members that the club’s annual trip to the races will take place at Sandown Park’s prestigious Brigadier Gerard twilight meeting on Thursday 23 May https://www.carbineclublondon.org.uk/events/race-night-dinner/.

Once again we will have exclusive access to the Royal Box, with a spectacular view across the racecourse, for a three-course meal, wines included.

This year there is a special offer for members and their guests. All attendees will be entered into a draw on the night with the main prize of a £250 voucher for Oxo Tower’s main restaurant or brasserie and a second prize of six bottles of Yalumba’s award-winning “Y Series” wine.

The evening’s action features the Brigadier Gerard Stakes, named after the champion racehorse who won 17 of his 18 races, including the 1971 2,000 Guineas.

The event is open to all members and their guests but the Royal Box’s capacity is 50, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Price per person is £170, including VAT.
